We’ve released a new v2.5 version of our popular Camcut mobile app, bringing improvements both to how the app works and to its content. This update focuses especially on usability, localization, and access to up-to-date information.

The new version includes several critical bug fixes that improve the app’s reliability. At the same time, localization has been further developed: in addition to language, users can now also select their country. This ensures that in-app links are automatically directed to the correct, region-specific sites.

The most significant new feature is the news function added to the app. It brings current news related to the machining industry directly into the app’s News menu, making it easier to follow developments in the field without separate information searches.

Digitalization has been at the core of Camcut’s operations for a long time, and our free mobile app has gained extensive international use. The app has been downloaded nearly 200,000 times around the world and has established itself as a digital information source for machine shops.

The app is available in 11 different languages and can be downloaded free of charge from the App Store for iOS devices and from the Play Store for Android devices. In terms of content, the app offers machining value calculators and other technical calculators and tables, such as ISO tolerances and thread dimensions. In addition, the app includes guides and useful links that support both experienced professionals and users studying in the field.

The latest update continues to develop the app into an even more comprehensive and up-to-date tool for everyday machine shop work.
