We’ve released a new v2.5 version of our popular Camcut mobile app, bringing improvements to both functionality and content. This update focuses especially on usability, localisation, and access to up-to-date information.

The new version includes several critical bug fixes that improve the reliability of the app. At the same time, localisation has been taken a step further: in addition to language, users can now also select their country. This means that internal links in the app are automatically directed to the correct, region-specific websites.

The most significant new feature is the news function added to the app. With it, current news related to the machining industry is updated directly in the app’s News menu, making it easier to follow developments in the field without separate information searches.

Digitalisation has been at the core of Camcut’s operations for a long time, and our free mobile app has gained wide international use. The app has been downloaded nearly 200,000 times around the world and has established its position as a digital information source for machine shops.

The app is available in 11 different languages and can be downloaded free of charge from the App Store for iOS devices and from the Play Store for Android devices. In terms of content, the app offers, among other things, machining value calculators and other technical calculators and tables, such as ISO tolerances and thread dimensions. In addition, the app includes guides and useful links that support both experienced professionals and students in the field.

The latest update continues the app’s development towards an even more comprehensive and up-to-date tool for everyday work in machine shops.
