Camcut Group expands to the United States

01.04.2026

Camcut Group continues its strong international expansion and is now entering the U.S. market alongside its existing operations in Finland and Sweden. The expansion is a continuation of the company’s development, in which Camcut, founded in 2014, has grown from a domestic technical supplier for the machining industry into an international group. The first step was taken a year ago with the establishment of Camcut AB in Sweden, and the company’s rapid growth is now extending across the Atlantic to North America.

Camcut Group’s Chairman of the Board, Janne Pesonen (left), and CEO Mikko Vepsäläinen are now expanding the company’s operations to the United States.

The United States is one of the largest machining industry markets in the world, and Camcut’s goal is to bring practical solutions that support everyday operations in machine shops and improve production efficiency. The company’s approach is based on close collaboration with customers and solutions that combine software, cutting tools, and expert services. Camcut’s role is particularly focused on production development, digitalization, and tool management solutions. With this expansion, Camcut Group strengthens its position as an international player and continues to invest in new markets and service development.

On April 1st, the company also announced the launch of its first proprietary product. The solution is a chemical effervescent tablet designed to convert muddy water into high-quality cutting fluid directly in the production environment, without filtration or additional additives. The solution is described as a new, environmentally friendly way to optimize cutting fluid usage, reduce fluid loss, and minimize environmental impact in production. In the long term, the goal is to significantly reduce the need for traditional cutting fluids. The development is based on years of close collaboration with a U.S.-based research team led by Dr. April F. Ools.

Camcut’s tablet solution promises to simplify the use of cutting fluids in production environments – perhaps sounding a little too good to be true.
