Camcut will be exhibiting at stand A722 at the Konepaja Engineering Works Trade Fair in Tampere, March 17–19, 2026

Camcut will be exhibiting at the Konepaja trade fair at Tampere Exhibition and Sports Centre on 17–19 March 2026. The company’s stand A722 will serve as a meeting point for machine shops that want to develop their production in a hands‑on, practical way. On display will be Camcut’s expanded representation portfolio, a strengthened expert team and a service concept where tools, workholding solutions, software and expert services are more tightly integrated than before. The aim is not to present individual products in isolation, but to show how different solutions support a machine shop’s everyday operations – from quotation calculation and process planning all the way to programming, tool management and actual machining.
Tools, software and workholding solutions for machine shops
At Camcut’s stand you’ll find a broad range of solutions related to metal cutting, production planning and the management of tools and workpieces. On display are Walter Tools cutting tools as well as the Walter Toolstation TX750 tool vending system, which brings order to tool storage and distribution. On the digital side, the fair will feature the new Mastercam 2026.R2 software version, Toolhive’s tool data management solution and up2parts, which focuses on AI‑based production planning.
In workholding and toolholding solutions, particular emphasis is placed on European manufacturers represented by Camcut. The German company SAV is known as a developer of magnetic workholding technology, and its solutions are widely used in milling, turning and grinding. The technology based on electro‑permanent magnetic chucks provides an even clamping force over the entire workpiece area, reducing deformation and improving machining accuracy.
Kemmler Präzisionswerkzeuge offers a wide range of toolholders, measuring tools and workholding solutions. The 5th Axis fixtures available through Kemmler are designed especially for multi‑axis machining, but are also very well suited to conventional machining centres and automated production cells. Vices based on the RockLock system enable fast and highly repeatable clamping and make it easier to standardise setups.
For turning, Camcut will present solutions from the Italian company M.T. S.r.l. for CNC lathes. The company’s product range covers a wide selection of static and driven toolholders as well as special toolholders that allow the capacity of lathes to be utilised more diversely. M.T. products are widely used especially in production environments where reliable and precise tool clamping is required.

A demoed digital chain from tool storage all the way to CAM programming
One of the key themes at Camcut’s stand is to show the entire digital production chain in practice. In many machine shops, tool information, inventory management and CAM programming still operate partly separately from each other, which means information has to be searched from several different sources and transferred manually from stage to stage. This easily shows up as extra work, uncertainty about tool availability and delays in programming or setups. At the fair, Camcut will demonstrate how tool management can be made part of a unified digital production chain.
The stand will feature Walter Tools’ TX750 tool vending system, which automates tool dispensing, returns, inventory tracking and replenishment. With the vending system, tool availability and stock levels are always known, and tool management becomes a more transparent part of daily production. At the fair, the tool vending system is connected to the Toolhive tool management solution, which brings all tool‑related information together in a single cloud‑based system.
In Toolhive, tool data, components and tool assemblies form a central data source that can be used directly in production planning and CAM programming. When tool data is brought from Toolhive into Mastercam programming, CAM programmers can use the same tools and assemblies that are actually used in production and available in the tool store. In this way, the physical tool inventory, digital tool data and CAM programming are combined into a single whole where the same information flows through the entire process without separate files or manual transfers. The solution presented at the fair illustrates how tool management can be linked directly to a machine shop’s daily programming and production work.
AI as part of CAM programming, production planning and quotation costing
At the fair, Camcut will present the new Mastercam 2026.R2 version and its key enhancements for CAM programming. The version brings several practical improvements to everyday programming work. Verify simulation can now utilise the computing power of the graphics card, which speeds up the simulation of large and multi‑axis programs in particular. In addition, the Mastercam Copilot AI assistant helps users find functions, adjust parameters and access the software documentation directly from the user interface. There are also improvements to multi‑axis machining, tool definition and probing functions, making programming easier and reducing manual work.
Alongside Mastercam, the fair will showcase the up2parts solution, which brings an AI‑assisted approach to quotation costing, process planning and CAM programming in machine shops. The up2parts calculation module analyses the geometry of the 3D model and related manufacturing information and, based on this, generates a proposal for operations, setups and machining times. The calculation is based on the company’s own production data, such as the machines in use, tools, materials and machining strategies. As a result, quotation costing can be done quickly and consistently, without having to estimate every new part completely from scratch.
Once the part analysis and operations have been created, the up2parts autoCAM module can automatically generate toolpath proposals directly in the Mastercam environment. Toolpaths, tools and machining strategies are based on the company’s own production data and previously proven methods. The CAM programmer can then review and finalise the program in Mastercam as part of the normal programming process. This way, quotation costing, process planning and CAM programming can be linked into a single process where the same production data flows from one stage to the next.
Practical machining demo at Machinery MT’s stand E251
Camcut’s presence at the fair is not limited to its own stand A722; a practical machining demo will also be presented at Machinery MT’s stand E251. The Wia LM1800TTSY lathe located there will serve as the demo environment, showing real machining using Walter Tools and toolpaths programmed with Mastercam. This clearly illustrates how design, programming and actual production are linked when you use a compatible combination of tools, software and methods.
The demo part will showcase several interesting turning methods. It includes pinch turning with two tools cutting simultaneously, dynamic turning using Walter Tools GD26 parting‑off and grooving tools, and rope thread turning implemented with Mastercam’s form threading functionality without separate threading software. The demo offers a concrete illustration of how modern tools and CAM programming can be used to carry out demanding turning operations in a controlled and efficient way. At the same time, it gives visitors a practical view of how Camcut’s solutions are visible all the way at the machine, not just on the design or software level.
Expert guests at Camcut’s stand
During the event, representatives of Camcut’s partners will also be visiting the stand. Up2parts GmbH’s CEO Marco Bauer and Toolhive representatives Daniel Mutter and Andreas Mood will be present at the stand. Fair visitors will have the opportunity to discuss solutions with them related to automating production planning, quotation costing and CAM programming with AI, as well as tool data management in cutting machine shops.
The presence of these experts provides a chance to dive deeper into how digital solutions can be implemented in a real production environment and how they can be integrated with existing software, tools and production processes in machine shops.
Welcome to stand A722

Camcut’s stand A722 is especially aimed at machine shops that want to see cutting tools, workholding solutions, tool automation and software as parts of one coherent development path. At the fair, you can explore the solutions on a general level, but also discuss in more detail how they fit the needs of your own production. You can book a presentation slot in advance to ensure enough time to go through different solutions in peace. If you are unable to attend the Konepaja fair, a separate presentation can be arranged either on site or remotely.
During the fair, up2parts GmbH CEO Marco Bauer and Camcut Group CEO Mikko Vepsäläinen will discuss the use of self‑learning AI in quotation costing, process planning and CAM programming in machine shops on the main stage on Wednesday 18 March at 12:00.

You are warmly welcome to meet Camcut’s experts at the Konepaja fair in Tampere on 17–19 March 2026 at stand A722 and to follow the practical machining demo at Machinery MT’s stand E251.
