Mastercam Startup Parameters
With Mastercam startup parameters, you can control which licenses and features are enabled when the program starts. This is especially useful when using network licenses and you want to ensure that specific workstations use only certain licenses.
Editing a Mastercam Shortcut with Startup Parameters
You can create a separate shortcut that launches Mastercam with the desired settings. Edit the shortcut’s target by adding the startup parameters you want. For example:
C:\Program Files\Mastercam 202x\mastercam.exe /M2
This command launches Mastercam using only the basic Mill license.
To launch Mastercam with both Mill 3D and Lathe licenses, use the following command:
C:\Program Files\Mastercam 202x\mastercam.exe /L1 /M3
