Mastercam Mill 3D offers powerful tools for programming 3-axis toolpaths, where the toolpaths are chained directly to the workpiece surfaces. With these solutions, you can define avoidance geometries, workpiece fixtures, as well as boundary and guide curves, making the process highly flexible. Mill 3D toolpaths compensate for the tool shape along the surfaces to be machined, making them ideal for various 3D surface machining tasks, such as mold machining, machining fillets and doubly curved surfaces, as well as contour milling. A Mastercam Mill license enables the use of Mill 3D toolpaths for individual work surfaces, as well as OptiRough for multiple surfaces. The Mill 3D license provides full support for creating multi-surface toolpaths. Mill 3D toolpaths can also use stock models and rest material to optimize machining processes.
