Mastercam Mill 3D
Mastercam Mill 3D provides powerful tools for programming 3-axis toolpaths that are chained directly to the surfaces of the workpiece. These solutions allow you to define avoidance geometry, workholding fixtures, and boundary and drive curves, making the process highly flexible. Mill 3D toolpaths compensate for the shape of the tool against the surfaces of the machined part, making them ideal for machining a wide range of 3D surfaces, including molds, fillets, doubly curved surfaces, and contoured chamfers. A Mastercam Mill license enables the use of Mill 3D toolpaths on individual surfaces and OptiRough machining on multiple surfaces. The Mill 3D license provides full support for creating multi-surface toolpaths. Stock models and remaining material can also be used with Mill 3D toolpaths to optimize machining processes. These toolpaths make machining complex 3D geometries precise and efficient, and they are suitable for a wide range of industries.
